Day 4 of my Bikepacking trip to Northumberland includes a cycle over the causeway to Holy Island which is one of my favourite places in the uk (perhaps I was a monk or a viking in a previous life). I hoped to get a pitch at the campsite at Spittal, but the site was full so I cycled on through Berwick and crossed the border at Norham eventually finding a woodland near Ladykirk. My final day will be a 95 mile ride home which I won't post as my phone battery is down to 5%.

Day two of my Bikepacking route started in a misty forest with rumbles of thunder in the distance, but luckily for me it stayed dry throughout the day. It was a pleasant day cycling on the old Waverley line before finally reaching the border and into Northumberland.

A pleasant ride as far as Leadhills, then I got a headwind most of the way home. On the plus side I hit 56.5mph which is almost a record for me hahaha!!

Qualcun altro ha rilevato valori di velocità massima strani? Ho raggiunto i 56 km/h sulla strada tra Leadhills e Abington, ma Komoot dice che la mia velocità massima era di 91 km/h, ahahah!!!
