Hi, mein Name ist Sven! Ich bin Mountainbiker und meine Anfänge als Biker machte ich in der Lüneburger Heide, den Harburger Bergen und dem Harz. Mittlerweile hat es mich in die Schweiz verschlagen und mach nun mit dem Emtb den Alpenraum unsicher. 😉Komoot nutze ich hauptsächlich zur Navigation und Erkundung neuen Terrains. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen dass es wirklich einen Haufen schlechter und liebloser Empfehlungen und Rezensionen gibt! "Trail" - ohne Foto, ohne Kommentar und mitten in der Pampa! Da sag ich: Top! NICHT!
Daher habe ich mir hier zum Ziel gesetzt, neben den Touren die ich mache, zu Trails und Sehenswürdigkeiten DIE MIR SELBST GEFALLEN, gescheite Empfehlungen mit Bildern und meiner persönlichen Meinung zu schreiben, sodass jeder einen bestmöglichen Eindruck erhält und gleich weiß was Sache ist! In diesem Sinne: GIBT EUCH VERDAMMT NOCHMAL MÜHE MIT EUREN EMPFEHLUNGEN! :D

I wanted to go to Fürenalp at Engelberg and there weren't too many options. I probably chose the most difficult one. The descent from the Alp all the way down to Engelberg made up for all the hardships!

Actually, I wanted to do a quiet one ... Bit uphill, downhill and enjoying the view. Only after I drove down a super steep S4 trail and there was only one other very steep way back to my starting point, it was over with enjoyment. After the tour I was totally exhausted and I didn't enjoy it at all. 😄

The first time I did a real tour for a long time and I heard that mountain biking is supposed to be quite good in the Alps! 😉 Since I now live in Switzerland, this can happen more often! 😋

Engelberg, surrounded by 2000 & 3000 meter high mountains, is a great area for this.
