Bikepacking from Pakkading to Thakhek Laos
The HWY 13 route is mostly flatland with long, gradual climbs and plenty of roadside vendors for resupply. The only real challenge was the heat and humidity... At 8am it was already 33C and 95% humidity!!!

Asphalt Gravel Asphalt Loop
23 km asphalt to Borikham then 23 km of knobbly gravel to Nong Boua with the last 24 km on asphalt back to Paksan. The ride was perfect... Nice breeze, not too hot or humid, fantastic scenery and great conversations.

HWY 13 Gravel Ride from Ban Woen to Thabat
Actually only the first half was terrible, potholed road with heavy traffic swerving to avoid the potholes. The final 30km was extra wide, pristine asphalt with designated cycling lanes.
