There was still no groomed trail and no cross-country skiing - so this wonderful winter hike was possible. Please do not go in the cross-country season, as the route partly crosses the trail.

We started the tour at the Rhine ferry in Honnef. Highly Recommended! Here you have one of the most beautiful romantic views of the Rhine for € 1.50 (there and back). The tour itself is entertaining due to the different landscapes, the view at the end of the hike from the restoration on the Rolandsbogen

Combination of the absolutely worthwhile ascent to the Himmerich with a stop at the Löwenburger Hof. We climbed the Himmerich from the "climbing side" (dashed path). You don't need a via ferrata set, but you do need 1-2 hands on the mountain. The panorama square below the summit is also highly recommended

Classically groomed trail. I would rate it as an easy trail without steep passages. Finally, on the feeder to the Oberndorfer Höhe car park, a small descent without curves and with a straight run-out. Very nice landscape and views. Refreshments (Sat / Sun) in a hut at the parking lot. Covered rest area at Dreiherrnstein.
