The day was rainy and the mountains cold and cloudy; from the way over the Ellmauer gate we were therefore advised against.
We had nothing left but the descent to Griesenau, from where we took a taxi to the Wochenbrunneralm and finally ascended to our destination, the Gaudeamushütte.

On our last tour section, the weather finally cleared up. From the way over the Scheffauer we were strongly advised against, as there still snow and ice was to be expected - so we had to go outside, over the Walleralm.
