The Calmont via ferrata is a beautiful circular route with a great view of the Moselle loop near Bremm. The ascent to the Calmont summit and the via ferrata are quite demanding, but easy to do. Again and again there is a beautiful view of the Moselle while hiking through vineyards or over the "obstacles" within the via ferrata.

Circular route from Lahnstein through the Ruppertsklamm and Lahneck Castle.
At the beginning and the end, the tour runs through the urban area of Lahnstein. For the nature lovers among you, we recommend choosing a parking space near the Ruppertsklamm. We walked it downhill this time, but find the way uphill nicer.
