Gravelton - The Peaky Finder 2026
First time riding the peaky finder in the peak district. Met some of my old cycling members which was a nice surprise. Lovely day for a gravel ride plenty of sunshine. It was a mostly flat route with a few big steep 15+ gradient climbs. They really hurt 😵💫

Braunstone park Gravel ride
Surprisingly windy today. So decided to do a leisurely zone 2 gravel loop no chasing every segment. Except a couple I couldn't resist 😜. Had one old Dog walker geezer refusing to move to one side as I was passing on a narrow bit of single track in Braunstone park😡

LFCC Sunday Social to the Sheds
Extremely windy ride to the Sheds. We had 1 guy get a puncture en route to the cafe. It was only after we had got there and using his hand pump that I remember I had bought my mini electric one with me. Gave that to inflate his tyre up…

Test ride
Quick test spin. Changed the tyres on the Boardman from its winter cinturato m to its summer Schwalbe G- one R summer tyres . Also tried out my new SPD road shoes.
