Potrebbe sempre andare peggio! Se ieri pensavamo che il tour sarebbe stato duro e al limite per noi, oggi eravamo davvero al limite. Oltre 1000 metri di dislivello, molto ripido alla fine. Il palco aveva tutto! Alcuni loop aggiuntivi finirono per renderlo un po' più lungo del previsto. The Burgwaldpfad leads from the Elisabethkirche in Marburg for more than 50km in a predominantly northward direction through the largest contiguous (castle) forest area in Hesse to Frankenberg. After the Schächerbach tour (and return to the Stadthallen parking lot) we still had enough time for a short tour to the castle and through the old town of Homberg - starting from the same starting point.
Most impressive of all was certainly the ancient and gigantic linden tree on the grounds of the castle

The Schächerbach tour starts at the town hall in Homberg (Ohm) and is well signposted as a premium hiking trail, so that you can hardly get lost without Komoot or other technical aids.
