Start from the Schmelztal car park. Continue to the Wehrhütte and Löwenburger Strasse to Margaretenhöhe. Up to the Mount of Olives, sometimes using the "abbreviations". The Mount of Olives is the highest mountain in the Siebengebirge and can be "climbed" relatively quickly.

Start at Heisterbach Monastery. Visit to the ruin. Continue on hiking trails to Petersberg. The last part of the way is steep and rocky. You will be rewarded with a perfect view of the Drachenfels, Rhine and Bonn. The area upstairs with the hotel is very nice. A great beer garden invites you to linger.

Hike to Lohrberg, Geisberg, Schallenberg and Milchhäuschen. Geisberg a bit steep. Very nice view from the Walter-Guillaume-Hut up there.
Great views from the hut on Lohrberg. Highly recommended.
