In contrast to the others who came by train from Marktbreit, I came to Burgbernheim by car. I parked my car at the train station, where there was ample parking. The Taubertal was lovely, sunny and green. Even on the uphill and downhill slopes and on the high plateau, most of the apple trees were still in enchanting bloom. Flower strips at the edges of the fields spice up the otherwise bare fields, here and there a yellow, fragrant field of rape.
