    Il castello si trova sul campo di basalto del vecchio vulcano di Craux e domina le valli di Volane e Sandron. Il castello fu costruito nell'XI secolo come residenza di caccia. Fu occupato per l'ultima volta nel 1944 prima di essere acquistato dal Comune nel 1994 e restaurato.
