The Gentpoort, also known as the Gate of Ghent, is a remarkably well-preserved medieval city gate located in Bruges, Belgium.     La Gentpoort è una delle quattro porte medievali conservate di Bruges. Per gli estranei un ingresso in città, per i residenti di Bruges un confine con il mondo esterno. La porta doveva difendere la città, ma fungeva anche da passaggio per le merci che venivano importate o esportate. Da notare la statua nella nicchia sopra il passaggio: si tratta di Sant'Adriano, che doveva proteggere Bruges dalla peste. Il Ghent Gate è più bello di notte, quando è completamente sotto i riflettori.
