    Questo palazzo è probabilmente uno degli edifici rinascimentali più belli a sud delle Alpi ed è giustamente l'orgoglio della popolazione.

    Un'opera d'arte rinascimentale unica è stata creata qui da maestri italiani per conto di Gabriele di Salamanca e dei suoi discendenti. Per lungo tempo il castello fu anche residenza dei Principi di Porcia (1662-1918). 

    La bellezza del cortile porticato a tre piani costituisce oggi una degna cornice per numerosi eventi culturali di fama internazionale (concorsi corali, commedie).
