    Il possente castello dei Conti di Veringen è un esempio nazionale di precedente costruzione di un castello con una torre residenziale. Le deformazioni del terreno e le rovine danno ancora un'idea degli elementi dell'ex fortezza. Intorno al 1200 i conti ricostruirono la torre residenziale secondo l'architettura di Staufer con imponenti conci a gobba.
