    Questo ex monastero benedettino ha una storia turbolenta di distruzione e ricostruzione. Fu in gran parte distrutto durante la guerra dei contadini nel 1525, ma il conte di Rieneck lo ricostruì come palazzo residenziale. Dopo la morte dell'ultimo conte, il castello fu occupato dalla chiesa e nuovamente smantellato da orde di contadini depredatori nel corso della secolarizzazione della Franconia nel XIX secolo.
