We've put together a Collection of seven delightful hikes for you that reveals the colorful splendour of the most beautiful forests in and around Berlin. Grab your mushroom basket and look out for chocolate brown mushrooms in northern Berlin. Or, enjoy the view of an abandoned baroque castle shining in the amber evening sun, as though from a fairytale, as you walk through the forest. Don't forget to pack a few juicy carrots for the wild boar and deer when you visit one of the natural wildlife enclosures.
Almost all of the walks are easy to reach either with the car or public transport. From short walks to longer hikes through the Brandenburg heath landscape, you will find something to suit any mood and all weather in this Collection.
