    La tour a l'air immense et est toujours ouverte aux visiteurs. L'itinéraire peut être ardu de certains côtés. Du sommet, la vue est superbe dans toutes les directions. Il y a aussi des bancs et des tables de jardin. L'environnement est très calme.

En gravissant ses six étages, vous pourrez lire une version abrégée de la légende « Les Brigands de Mordkuhlenberg », inspirée de la pièce éponyme de Bernd Kessens, et admirer la beauté des Dammer Berge.

    La tour, d'une vingtaine de mètres de haut, fut construite en 1978 et reconstruite après un incendie en 1991 et 1992. En 2013, certaines parties furent rénovées et les panneaux relatant la légende installés.
