    Personne n'avait entendu parler de cette plage sauvage jusqu'à récemment, lorsque les réseaux sociaux, les blogueurs et les sites de voyage ont commencé à publier des photos de ses paysages époustouflants. Elle n'était même pas indiquée sur les cartes, et seuls quelques habitants connaissaient l'existence d'un sentier menant à l'une des plus belles plages du Portugal. Ils l'ont gardée secrète, mais elle est aujourd'hui très populaire, y compris auprès des touristes.

    Comme il s'agit d'une plage sauvage et en raison d'un accès difficile, elle ne dispose d'aucun équipement de soutien ni de sauveteurs. N'oubliez pas d'apporter de l'eau et de la nourriture, et au retour, n'oubliez pas de ramener tous vos déchets (il y a des poubelles près du parking, au départ du sentier) ! Si vous préférez rester à l'ombre, vous devrez apporter un parasol. Notez également que le nom de la plage est Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo et non Praia da Ribeira do Cavalo, comme on l'appelle souvent.
