    Les clochers néo-gothiques sont typiques du paysage du Nord-Brabant. Mais la "ligne d'horizon" de Dongense est en partie déterminée par un dôme. Il appartient à l'église Laurentius, l'une des œuvres les plus importantes de l'architecte Joseph Cuypers. Cette église date de 1917. Devant l'église se trouve une statue du Sacré-Cœur.
