The Rinnerhütte is a welcoming mountain hut nestled at 1,473 meters in the western part of Austria's Totes Gebirge (Dead Mountains), within the scenic Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria. Managed by the Bergsteigerbund Ebensee, this traditional Schutzhaus serves as a popular resting point and an excellent base for exploring the surrounding alpine landscape. Its "house mountain" is the impressive Rinnerkogel, a 2,012-meter peak that stands proudly southwest of the hut.

    La Rinnerhütte est située dans les montagnes mortes et peut être atteinte en deux heures et demie de marche depuis Offensee. Ce sentier de randonnée peut également être parcouru avec des enfants, mais vous devez alors prévoir environ quatre heures pour l'ascension. La cabane est particulièrement familiale et la nature environnante est un véritable paradis pour petits et grands explorateurs.

    La cabane est ouverte en continu de début juin à mi-septembre, selon la météo, elle est déjà ouverte en mai et les week-ends d'octobre. Plus d'informations sur wander-bar.at/die-basis.
