    Le ST. L'ÉGLISE LUDGERI a été construite vers 1180 dans le style roman. La tour de croisement caractéristique a deux étages romans, après 1383 elle a été augmentée de deux étages gothiques. Le vitrage d'après-guerre des fenêtres du grand chœur gothique a été réalisé par Vincenz Pieper.

    Le premier évêque de Münster a été élu patron de l'église Ludgeri. Liudger, né vers 742 en Frise et mort en 809 à Billerbeck près de Munster, fut chargé par Charlemagne de faire du prosélytisme auprès des Saxons.
