    L'anneau de Brodgar fait partie du site néolithique du patrimoine mondial des Orcades. Cet anneau de pierres comprenait autrefois 60 pierres, 36 survivent encore. On pense qu'ils ont été créés au 3ème millénaire avant JC, il y a environ 5000 ans !
    Les pierres dressées voisines de Stenness valent également le détour.
    Les deux sont maintenant gérés par Historic Environment Scotland.
