    Le château entouré de douves de Netra est un édifice majestueux de la Renaissance situé à la périphérie ouest de Netra et existe depuis le XIIIe siècle. Les Boyneburgers ont démoli l'ancien complexe du château ou ses vestiges et ont construit à sa place un nouveau château relativement grand entre 1590 et 1600. L'eau des douves environnantes était dérivée par un petit canal du Leimbach, qui coule environ 120 mètres plus à l'ouest, et renvoyée par un deuxième canal dans le Leimbach, qui se jette ensuite dans la Netra, qui coule au sud, environ 50 mètres plus à l'ouest.
