Pour gravir le Hohe Wand, je recommande l'itinéraire depuis Markt Piesting ; depuis Dreistetten, vous pouvez monter en zigzag sur des chemins forestiers (même s'il y a beaucoup de terrain meuble, donc c'est un peu difficile). La route à péage qui commence entre Stollhof et Maiersdorf sont incontournables, mais plus raides avec plus de trafic.
