3 mountain passes, 2 gears, 1 hope - Max' electric rear derailleur is still malfunctioning.
More precisely, he has the choice between the very smallest gear and the largest, haha - so it's a balancing act between cadence training and maximum strength.

Kanin, what a dream area.
Although it has not snowed for 5 weeks, we start hiking early in a valley still unknown to us. On our maps we have discovered potentially interesting runs in the back of the valley. But the sun rises quickly and our legs still feel yesterdays effort.

Before sunrise we ride down the hairpin bends over the classic cobblestones. Soon we will switch to skis and the last day of skiing can begin.

Phew... and that at the hardest pass: Max's gears are going completely crazy. He only has the choice between the highest and the lowest gear. But a few hours later the Vrsic Pass is also in the books.

Today it's on ... could probably be the good Italian coffee, the sunshine with 25°C, the refreshing jump into the sea and the prospect of exciting skiing in the Slovenian Alps. ;)
So another short break at the sea and off to Slovenia.

We found snow, in Croatia, in March. Wohoo ;)
At least a little bit ... but there's something about doing a few turns in the slushy snow here, wearing a T-shirt, in between the flower meadows with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. A small kicker is quickly built and we enjoy the spring feeling.

Sunshine, short pants, gravel roads - a beautiful day. Our concerns about good snow conditions are slowly increasing - the question is more whether we will still find snow here at all in Croatia.
