Monsaraz und Runde im Umland mit Menhiren
Gestern noch mussten wir unsere Wanderung nach 30 Minuten abbrechen - Nieselregen hat uns eine Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Und nein, wir sind nicht aus Zucker, haben uns aber auf trockenes Wetter eingestellt und keinen Regenschutz mitgenommen.

The day begins as yesterday's ended. Drizzle. We set off around 9:30 a.m. Temperature: 19 degrees Celsius.

We woke up several times this night because of the heavy rain pounding on the skylight. By 7:30, the rain had stopped. So we went outside and around the corner to the bakery for breakfast. We'd barely gotten inside when it started raining again.
We set off at 9:30 in pleasant 19 degrees Celsius and drizzle

We spent yesterday's rest day in the dry, indoors. As predicted, it rained, or rather, poured, all day. Our batteries are recharged, and this morning we're ready for the final stages.

After yesterday morning's cloudy spell, today's scene is back to normal – not a cloud in sight. On the other hand, it was quite chilly at 10:00 a.m., just 14 degrees Celsius. However, it quickly warmed up, and the day's high reached 25 degrees Celsius.

This morning we had a superb breakfast. We had a great chat with a Belgian couple (not hikers). And so we didn't set off until around 10:00.
And something else was different than usual – clouds. Quite a lot of them, but only a few blue patches in the sky. The temperature was quite fine at 22 degrees Celsius

The alarm goes off a little earlier than usual. A quick breakfast at the accommodation, and we set off at 8:00. It's still pitch black and a bitterly chilly 8 degrees.
