La escultura de bronce "Hengst Wohlklang en la doma de la libertad" conmemora dos aniversarios.
El grupo fue donado por Stadtsparkasse Celle con motivo de su 150 aniversario en 1984.
Fue erigido e inaugurado en la celebración del 250 aniversario de la Yeguada Estatal de Celle el 29 de agosto de 1985 en el patio de armas de la Yeguada Estatal y luego, después de los desfiles de sementales, el 12 de octubre de 1985 en el Parque del Castillo de Celle a la público.
