Campamento Sunrise High Sierra

When Sunrise High Sierra Camp is closed or if you cannot secure a reservation, the primary alternative for overnight stays in the area is wilderness camping. This requires obtaining a valid wilderness permit from Yosemite National Park. There are designated wilderness campsites in the vicinity, but you must be self-sufficient, carry all your gear, and adhere to Leave No Trace principles. For front-country lodging, options are available in Tuolumne Meadows or other areas of Yosemite, requiring a significant hike to reach the Sunrise area.
