Nice hike across pastures and forest to the beach. The route is closed due to a collapsed bridge, but you can get around it without any problems. We found that the hike is intentionally not reopened as it is lucrative to take 80 NZ dollars for the water taxis. There are 2 barriers that you have to get

Walk along the water, also used as a mountain bike route. We turned around on the road, the path is a bit long and should be extended in the future. A change from hiking.

Admission 46 NZ dollars, the Geysir show at 10:15 a.m. is overrated and you have to get a stamp first, then drive or walk 1.3km and after the show with the traffic chaos come back and find a parking space. Would rather recommend the Okarei Korako

The most varied hike in New Zealand so far, we took the ferry to Okiato, from there through a beautiful forest path to the mangrove forest over a footbridge, climbed to the lookout, then went sightseeing in Russell and from there took the ferry over to Paihia and from there hiked along the coast to Opua
