Unfortunately I didn't get any further than Landau. The heat of the last few days had taken its toll on me. From Herxheim I went across the fields to the main station in Landau. Here I just finished my pilgrimage on the Palatinate Way of St. James. As soon as the temperatures get a little warmer again

I didn't like this tour. It was mostly in the shady forest. Only at the end was there a nice view. I was very disappointed because it was a sunny day and I spent it in the shade of the forest.

Today was a very nice and comfortable circular hike on the CREATION PATH in the Eifel National Park. Narrow paths, rugged slate cliffs, lots of splashing water and silence. Just the thing before the fourth Sunday in Advent. Oh yes, the Eifel is simply beautiful.

Control hike on a circular hike that is listed in my hiking guide "Hiking for the soul. Palatinate". It is a shortened version of the Hahnfels tour near Erfweiler. Still a very beautiful hike that is not over-hiked even on the weekend.
