In 1866, a branch of the Stettiner Bergschloss Brewery moved into the building. For about 100 years, their own beer was brewed here and then only beer from outside and non-alcoholic drinks were bottled. The building fell into ruins decades ago, but today it is largely maintained and used as a bat roost. You can shine a flashlight into the basement rooms from outside.

Completely hidden in the forest is an NVA bunker. The remains can still be partially explored today and it is worthwhile. Some bunkers have been walled up and are now used as shelters for bats. Of course, sturdy shoes and a flashlight 🔦 are required. The best way to reach the site is by mountain bike. !!!Attention, apart from the paths there are sometimes still deep shafts in the ground!!!

Nice hike through the Parchimer forest to the Sonnenberg and the Vieting robber's cave. There you should definitely scan the label on the figure. Sit on the bench and listen to the legend of the robber Vieting. A pleasant breather. The hike there is well signposted. If you are very quiet you can also occasionally observe game.
