From the Pietrapiana cave to climb to the shelter on the north peak of Mount Finestra you have to take a panoramic but quite treacherous path (T3-T4), part of the "Sentiero Italia - Stage S17S" Trekking clothing, sturdy shoes and some mountaineering experience.

On the northern peak of Mount Finestra you can admire a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Salerno. There is a shelter called "il Telefono" which can be useful in case of need. Challenging routes to reach the north peak, therefore, trekking clothing and sturdy shoes are a must.

Monte Finestra is a top of the Lattari Mountains and offers a panoramic view of the Amalfi Coast, the Gulf of Salerno and Vesuvius. The North peak has an altitude of 1138 meters and is also called "the telephone" because it houses a shelter (where it is possible to sleep with sleeping bags in case of need) with an old telephone box.
