Beautiful rest area with terrace and roof.

From the ball game you can enjoy a view of the Capuchins and the ball game tower, although in midsummer it is largely obscured by the foliage of the trees.

We had a picnic on the wooden bench in front of the refuge. Since the roof was pulled forward a little, the head was in the shade and the rest was in the sun. However, there is no table in the refuge. A hiking map is attached. The hut is at the corner of the intersection.

In the center of Stierberg, at the intersection of several hiking trails, there's a lovely, slightly elevated rest and play area with seating, playground equipment, and plenty of space to play. What makes this spot special, however, is a small hut containing a variety of items that hikers can take: books, board and party games, children's clothing, printed coffee mugs, and more. The best part? There's absolutely no junk on offer; only useful and well-preserved goods. A small donation box is located next to the hut, where hikers can leave a small contribution for what they've taken. A truly beautiful spot in a peaceful setting for a break – highly recommended.

Protected me from a brief thunderstorm. I made my way back to the hut at the first drop and was there just in time before the downpour.

Very nice place for an overnighter. If you want to spend the night there under the open sky, you should first obtain the consent of the Franconian Switzerland Association.

Ideal place to rest. There is a covered patio with seating.
