The meeting point is on the summit plateau. A little away from the road, you can enjoy the wide view over the Hintertaunus from here. When the visibility is good, you can see as far as the Westerwald and the Vogelsberg.

From the Herzberg tower you have a wonderful panoramic view. The Berggasthof Herzberg offers the perfect opportunity for a rest before the descent. Hot meals served all day. https://www.gasthofherzberg.de

Currently the absolute negative highlight on the Großer Feldberg! In March 2019, the thriving restaurant was closed by the Feldberghof association and given to a new operator. Basically the home rock for the climbing scene north of Frankfurt. A good selection of easy to moderately difficult routes.
