The Ruidera Lakes are one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Castilla-La Mancha, located between Ciudad Real and Albacete, and form part of the Ruidera Lakes Natural Park. A group of 15 stepped lakes connected by waterfalls and streams, stretching for 25 km in the Upper Guadiana Valley. They are considered the source of the Guadiana River.

Laguna Conceja, in Ossa de Montiel (Albacete), is part of the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park, one of the most beautiful natural areas in Castilla-La Mancha. It is approximately 2,000 meters long and 300 meters wide, situated 850 meters above sea level. Surroundings: A landscape of scrubland, large junipers, and reedbeds. Its shores combine cliffs, small beaches, and areas of vegetation. Shape: Elongated and winding, bordering ancient cattle trails. Ecological significance: It is an important nesting ground for waterfowl, ideal for wildlife observation.

The Puente del Baño de las Mulas (Mule Bath Bridge) in Ossa de Montiel (Albacete) is an iconic landmark within the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park, ideal for hiking and nature enthusiasts. It is located in the area known as Baño de las Mulas, at the end of Laguna Tomilla, very close to other lagoons such as Laguna Conceja. It is part of circular routes that skirt the lagoons and connect with places like El Ossero, where the remains of an old hydroelectric power station can be found.
