Ecological significance: It is an important nesting ground for waterfowl, ideal for wildlife observation.

The Puente del Baño de las Mulas (Mule Bath Bridge) in Ossa de Montiel (Albacete) is an iconic landmark within the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park, ideal for hiking and nature enthusiasts. It is located in the area known as Baño de las Mulas, at the end of Laguna Tomilla, very close to other lagoons such as Laguna Conceja. It is part of circular routes that skirt the lagoons and connect with places like El Ossero, where the remains of an old hydroelectric power station can be found.

The Ossero Ford is located in the Ruidera Lakes Natural Park, within the municipality of Ossa de Montiel (Albacete), on the border with Villahermosa (Ciudad Real). It is a natural area that forms part of the Ossero Trail, an easy interpretive route (5.3 km one way) that skirts the Tomilla and Conceja lagoons, connecting with the Laguna Blanca.

The most common ascent route is along the south face, starting from the Pino de los Muchachos spring. Although it is not a difficult mountain to access, the climb requires some physical preparation.
