The Cros bridge is an old stone and lime bridge that spans the turbulent waters of the Vésubie. This bridge is a "modern" reconstruction of a much older bridge, visibly medieval, of the old access to the main salt road which linked Levens to Utelle.

Located at the confluence of the Var and the Vésubie, the commune of Utelle includes several hamlets including Saint-Jean-la-Rivière where the town hall is located. Perched at an altitude of 800 meters, Utelle has an orientation table which offers great information on the neighboring Mercantour valleys. Alternative to the single round trip Utelle la Madone d'Utelle, this path follows an old path which no longer appears on the maps, so be careful because there are some narrow passages and some obstacles. route to be avoided in case of rain. However, this tour by the Mont Diamant offers very nice changes of scenery for an additional hour of walking since we will turn around the Mont. It alternates passage in undergrowth where discovered. Be careful so especially if you have unruly children but it is a very nice walk not very difficult
