Montpeyroux is a charming village in the Puy-de-Dôme department, France, known for its blond sandstone houses and its medieval tower. Montpeyroux offers views of the Allier River, the vineyards and the volcanoes of Auvergne. A stop here is sure to disappoint and you should definitely head to the top of the tower to enjoy the breathtaking view.

This old suspension bridge linked Issoire on the left bank and Parentignat on the right bank. It was the first in 1831 which made it possible to cross the Allier, replacing the Parentignat, Orbeil and Pradeaux ferries. Since 1976 it has been disused and has been replaced by a more modern bridge.

Small village perched high on the slopes of the Puy de Corent. Corent is a village of winegrowers; the vines are mainly located on the southern slope of the puy. It is part of the Côtes-d'Auvergne vineyard. To have : - Archaeological site of the oppidum.
