    Obwohl der Cahuenga Peak der höchste Punkt im Griffith Park ist, steht er meist im Schatten seines etwas kleineren Nachbarn, des Mt. Lee, mit seinen vielen Antennen und der berühmten Werbetafel, die einst in den Hügeln über Hollywood für Grundstücksverkäufe warb. Tatsächlich war der Cahuenga Peak bis vor kurzem noch nicht einmal Teil des Parks, sondern gehörte zuvor über 60 Jahre lang dem Howard Hughes Estate.
