    Die ökologische Stätte „Fort Nocek“ mit einer Fläche von 1,2 ha (das Gebiet von Redita Napoleońska) wurde am 20. Juni 1996 vom Danziger Stadtrat gegründet. In der Festung befindet sich das größte Fledermausüberwinterungslager und das drittgrößte in Danzig. Während der Winterruhe der Fledermäuse (von Oktober bis April) ist der Zutritt zum Schutzgebiet verboten. Hier wurden vier Fledermausarten gefunden, die alle unter strengem Schutz stehen: die Große Fledermaus (Myotis myotis), die Naterera Noct (Myotis nattereri), die Rote Fledermaus (Myotis daubentonii) und die Braune Fledermaus (Plecotus auritus). Ihre Lebensräume sind durch die FFH-Richtlinie der Europäischen Union geschützt.
