    Die St. Peter-Kirche in Pellenberg ist eine gotische Kirche, die ursprünglich aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stammt. Es ist auf dem höchsten Punkt der Gegend errichtet und somit schon von weitem sichtbar. Die Kirche wurde im Laufe der Jahrhunderte mehrfach renoviert, wobei im 18. Jahrhundert eine bemerkenswerte Rekonstruktion des Kirchenschiffs und eine Restaurierung nach Schäden im Zweiten Weltkrieg stattfanden. Im Inneren finden Sie ein wunderschönes Interieur mit historischen Elementen, darunter barocke Kunstwerke und einen Hauptaltar aus dem 17. Jahrhundert.

    Besuchen Sie unbedingt den Friedhof. Neben einigen prosaischen Epitaphien finden Sie viele Grabdenkmäler, die miteinander zu konkurrieren scheinen. Besonders beeindruckend ist das der Familie Ryckman de Betz, das Platz für bis zu 20 Verstorbene bietet. Sehenswert sind auch die Kriegerdenkmäler für den Zweiten Rückzug aus Antwerpen (1914) und die politischen Gefangenen aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Heutzutage wird niemand mehr begraben.
