Die Mühle wurde 1890 erbaut und diente als Ersatz für die baufällige Wippenmühle am gleichen Standort. Die ersten drei Meter sind aufrecht, dann konisch. Diese Form ist für diesen Mühlentyp einzigartig. Diese Mühle kam 1986 in den Besitz von Simav.
