    1847 wurde die Kirche zu ihrem heutigen neugotischen Bau umgebaut. Der ursprünglich romanische Chorturm wurde in die heutige Westfassade integriert und die Kirche im selben Jahr eingeweiht. Es ist eine Kreuzkirche mit einem lateinischen Kreuz als Grundriss. Das Gebäude hat einen eingebauten Sandsteinturm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. An der Westfassade sind Spuren zweier ehemaliger Dachschrägen sichtbar. Das Gebäude besteht aus Ziegelmauerwerk auf einem Sandsteinsockel. Die Kirche beherbergt eine Orgel von Van Peteghem. Diese Orgel hat ein Orgelgehäuse aus Eichenholz im Rokokostil und steht seit 1979 unter Denkmalschutz.
