    St. Briavels (ausgesprochen Brevels, einst bekannt als „Ledenia Parva“ (Little Lydney)) ist ein mittelgroßes Dorf und eine Gemeinde im Royal Forest of Dean im Westen von Gloucestershire, England, nahe der Grenze zwischen England und Wales und 5 Meilen entfernt (8 km) südlich von Coleford. Es liegt fast 800 Fuß (240 m) über dem Meeresspiegel am Rande eines Kalksteinplateaus über dem Tal des Flusses Wye, über einem alten Flussmäander. Im Westen fällt Cinder Hill ab Es geht steil ins Tal ab und liegt geschützt hinter den zerfallenden Mauern des St. Briavels Castle aus dem 12. Jahrhundert.
