    Sehr schönes Schloss mit heutiger Nutzung für Wohnungen, Büroräume, das Fremdenverkehrsamt, das Schlossstandesamt und ein Restaurant. Direkt vor dem alten Schloss befinden sich auch ein paar kostenfreie Parkplätze.😉

    Das alte Schloss wäre längst verfallen, hätte es Dr. med. Kurt Schadendorf nicht gegeben. Er rettete gemeinsam mit anderen Bürgern das Alte Schloss vor dem Abriss in der Bodenreform und richtete im August 1949 das erste Landambulatorium in Sachsen ein. Heute sind viele ärztliche Praxen, das Standesamt im alten Schloss. Der Schloßsaal wurde früher unter anderem als Kuhstall und Turnhalle verwendet. Heute dient er als Veranstaltungs- und Konferenzraum.
