Despite the detour to the castle and the funicular, fewer meters in altitude than the original route. The Wahoo has probably withheld some things.
But very nice tour, except for the one climb in the forest at the beginning, which unfortunately is still a single mud hole.

Nice route, unfortunately very few "sights". The parts on public roads had pleasantly little traffic (on Sundays). But the way through Marburg on the bike path is even more so.
As a racing cyclist, the unnecessary gravel piece would have annoyed me, so I found it a very nice change

Due to the rail strike this time by car to Kassel - behind the train station you can also park easily so that you could start right away.
The paths are all very easy to drive here (ok, I'm on the MTB and a pure racing bike might have problems for a moment). The view from the Herkules is really magnificent

The fifth of the seven tours - and the most difficult so far. In many places you couldn't get on the regular route. Partly through a construction site (the road is being re-tarred), a lot of mud (really impossible to drive there) or because there are obstacles in the way.
But you could always drive around
