Weinviertel

Kulinarische Highlights, malerische Kellergassen und gesellige Weinfeste – das Weinviertel ist ein Ort zum Erholen, Entdecken und Genießen. Wein, der Namensgeber der Region, prägt das Weinviertel – sowohl landschaftlich als auch im Rahmen von touristischen Angeboten: Wer dem Weinviertel einen Besuch abstattet, kommt dem Wein unweigerlich auf die Spur. Mit einer Weinanbaufläche von nahezu 14.000 ha ist das Weinviertel Österreichs größtes Weinbaugebiet. Weingärten und Rebstöcke kennzeichnen die sanft-hügelige Landschaft im Nordosten Österreichs ebenso wie malerische Kellergassen.

Rund 3.000 km Radrouten führen ohne steile Anstiege durch die sanft-hügelige Landschaft und verzaubern mit traumhaften Bildern: Weingärten, Felder und malerische Kellergassen bilden die Kulisse für Ihre Ausfahrt. Ein besonderes Highlight des Weinviertels sind die Weinradrouten, wunderschöne Rundkurse mit einer Länge von 35 bis 75 km, die nach unterschiedlichen Rebsorten benannt wurden und durch die schönsten Weinlagen der Region führen. Schwingen Sie sich aufs Fahrrad und erradeln Sie beispielsweise die Veltliner Radroute oder die Weinviertel DAC Radroute. Der Name ist dabei Programm! Abgesehen von der einmaligen Kulisse erwarten Sie entlang der Rundkurse mit gemütlichen Heurigen und vinophilen Ausflugszielen viele weitere Highlights rund um den Wein.
