For the next few days we are going to the Ionian Sea. We leave Ioannina by bus and trailer about 20 km west into the mountains. There we cover a good 50 km and 800 meters in altitude on our bikes through a very beautiful and lonely mountain area.

From a photographic point of view, the walk through the old town was a pleasure for me.
the castle complex with mosque and some museums is worth the effort of the climb through the old town.

An ideal night for astrophotography: cloudless, clear and very dark due to the sheltered location in the forest and far from Munich. From 11:00 p.m. no more moon, from 11:30 p.m. astronomical darkness.
