You should definitely do this hike if you are in the Merano area of South Tyrol. It is very easy to walk and you can easily get back to the starting point by bus.

Surprise: a hike through eucalyptus forest and, in part, cork oak forest. Recommended, even if there aren't any outstanding viewpoints. The elevation gain can be strenuous, depending on the heat. I was lucky, it was only 23 degrees Celsius at the end of March.
