Today we rode very little on the road, but on lots of great cycle paths. First from Bolzano along the Brenner motorway to Brixen, then turned into the Pustertal and had lunch somewhere before Bruneck with a panini and strawberry cake. After breakfast, after a 3km warm-up, we headed straight into the mountain of mountains this year. I have to be honest, it has a few percent too steep a gradient for me in one or two places, so that, if traffic allowed it, I had to ride in a zigzag pattern to get the cadence halfway up.
